DP-RDR-8044
The DP-RDR-8044 is a modular and redundant precision approach radar (PAR) that operates in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation). It employs active electronic scanning antennas for both azimuth and elevation. This radar can function independently or as part of a Ground Control Approach (GCA) system, which may incorporate a surveillance radar. It features modern Airborne Moving Target Indication (AMTI) processing, with radar data and control displayed on an LCD monitor with touchscreen capabilities. Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) provides comprehensive self-diagnostics, allowing the system to identify and isolate faults to the Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level, which ensures rapid maintenance and high operational availability.
