TPS-830KE
The TPS-830KE is an X-band low-altitude surveillance radar designed for roles such as an air defense gap filler, coastal surveillance sensor, or point defense tool. It can be integrated with various air defense weapon systems. The radar's antenna features a parabolic reflector that generates a cosecant-squared pattern, along with an integrated dipole array for an L-band Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogator. Its transmitter utilizes a traveling wave tube to amplify the radar's waveform across one of 51 pre-selected frequencies, operating with an average pulse repetition frequency of 2,500 Hz, a pulsewidth ranging from 0.2 to 7 microseconds, 8 kW peak power, and 140 W average power, providing an instrumented range of 40 km with a 1.5-degree beamwidth and 30 rpm antenna rotation.
