Description
The Spider, formerly known as the LORANA (LOng RAnge Non line of sight Attack system), is an anti-tank missile developed by EDePro and featuring an imaging infrared (IIR) sensor and optic-fiber cable guidance system. The guidance system allows engaging moving targets with the operator being updated in real-time of the target location. It is powered by a two-phase solid propellant rocket motor allowing a maximum range of 9 kilometers and a top speed of 200 meters per second. The Spider uses a tandem high explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead that can penetrate 1,000mm of reinforced armor.
