X-TAR3D
The X-TAR3D (X-band Tactical Acquisition Radar 3D) is a compact, lightweight X-band battlefield radar designed for air surveillance and target acquisition in short and very short-range air defense systems. Operating at 40 rpm with an instrumented range of 30 or 50 km, it performs search, detection, acquisition, tracking, classification, and identification of very low-altitude air targets. This fully coherent phased-array pulse Doppler radar uses multiple transmitter and receiver modules for high reliability and graceful degradation, obtaining elevation data from up to twelve simultaneously receiving stacked beams. Its electronics are integrated within the antenna unit, communicating with other systems via an Ethernet interface; a naval variant, the X-TAR3D/M, offers an extended range of 75 km.
