Description

The SAPEM Chinese Anti-Personnel Mine is a high-explosive (HE), scatterable, electronic, pressure-actuated, anti-personnel (AP), blast, landmine with self-destruct (SD) settings ranging from 1 to 15 days.

Design The SAPEM has an odd-shaped body with a cylindrical centre and two trapezoidal portions attached on the sides of the cylinder, opposite of each other. The SAPEM is similar to the GLD-112 in appearance, though slightly larger and may have been developed as a replacement.
