The Aaronia AG AARTOS™ RD 3000 is a ground surveillance radar operating in the Ku band (IEEE designation) or J band (NATO designation) at frequencies between 15.7 and 16.6 GHz. It is designed for 3D surveillance to detect and track intruding drones, with an instrumented range of 20 km and an accuracy of 0.5 degrees. The system is capable of distinguishing drones from birds.
