Description
The ACAR is a Ku-band, 2D ground surveillance radar developed by the Turkish manufacturer Aselsan. This Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) system utilizes a slotted waveguide array antenna and has an instrumented range of 40 km. It is designed to detect, track, and classify moving targets on land or sea, as well as low-flying airborne targets. The compact, lightweight, solid-state ACAR system can be integrated into vehicles, elevated masts, or towers, or operated as a stand-alone unit on a tripod, and also supports integration with Command & Control Systems, making it suitable for border and perimeter surveillance and artillery fire adjustment.
