Description

The Blighter B400 series is an e-scan ground surveillance radar (GSR) operating in the Ku band (15.7–17.2 GHz) with an instrumented range up to 32 km. Utilizing a unique combination of Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) and Doppler processing, it offers exceptional ground clutter cancellation and detects slow-moving targets, including personnel and vehicles, with an average power of 1 or 4 W. The radar features a wide vertical elevation beam (5°, 10°, or 20°) to eliminate 'dead ground' and simultaneously scan distant and close-up targets, as well as complex terrain and low-flying aircraft. As an all-in-one integrated unit with no moving parts, it provides 90-degree angular coverage, operates in all weather conditions with a built-in precipitation filter, and offers high reliability and low power consumption for 24-hour, maintenance-free operation.
