Description
The Su-57E is the export variant of the Russian Air Force Su-57 stealth fighter fitted, most likely, with downgraded systems and sensors. The new jet is expected to be launched before the end of 2019 with an estimated entry into service in the early 2020s. Russia is trying to sell the Su-57E fifth generation stealth fighter to China, India, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria and/or Malaysia. Algeria and Russia signed a $2 billion agreement for 14 Su-57E stealth jets in November 2020.
