Description

The Jernas area air defense system is based on the proven Rapier FSC designed to engage air threats. It consists of a launcher with 8 Rapier Mk2 missiles and an electro-optical tracker, a 3D surveillance radar and a high resolution radar to defeat small stealthy targets in all environments. The three items may be towed by ground vehicles or airlifted by helicopters. The Jernas air defense system can be reloaded easily and quickly. It is exceptionally suitable against saturation attacks.
