Description
The Hyundai Rotem Wheeled Armored Vehicle (WAV) is a family of all terrain, high mobility, modular 6x6 and 8x8 armored vehicles intended to perform a wide variety of missions in support of military rapid deployment and security forces. The Samsung TechWin MPV, Doosan DST Black Fox and Hyundai Rotem KW Scorpion multi-purpose wheeled armored vehicles have been designed to meet the requirements of the Republic of Korea Army (RoKA) and South Korean security forces. A RoKA decision on its new rapid deployment armored vehicle is expected before 2012.
