Description

The AV-TM, also known as Missil TM and Astros TM, is a tactical ballistic missile developed by Brazil's Avibras Aeroespacial to be launched from the Astros II (6x6) and Astros III (8x8) multiple launch rocket systems. The Astros tactical ballistic surface-to-surface missile is a fire-and-forget weapon with maximum range is approximately 300 km carrying a 300 kg warhead. The missile system has also been described as a cruise missile because of the employment of folding wings.
