Protector RWS with M2HB .50 caliber machine gun (Slovak variant).
Indirect Fire Patria NEMO 120mm turreted mortar system with automatic loader and direct/indirect fire capability. AMOS twin-barrel 120mm mortar turret.
Fire Control All turret configurations support network-centric warfare through integrated C4I systems, battlefield management systems, and health/usage monitoring (HUMS). The electrical power generation capacity is specifically designed to support future sensor and electronic warfare suites.
Protection
Ballistic Protection The AMV XP employs a modular ballistic protection system scalable to customer requirements. At maximum configuration, the frontal arc withstands 30mm armor-piercing rounds, while all-round protection defeats 14.5mm AP projectiles. The vehicle's armor packages meet STANAG 4569 Level K5+ standards against kinetic energy threats.
Mine and IED Protection Mine protection exceeds STANAG Level 4a/4b, with the hull designed to survive 10kg TNT equivalent blasts under any wheel position or beneath the hull center. The double-V hull geometry and suspended seating systems mitigate blast transmission to occupants. Up-armored variants demonstrate survivability against RPG-7 rocket attacks.
