Description

The Taiwanese Navy Kuang Hua VI is a class of fast attack missile boat designed and built by the CSBC Shipbuilding Corporation in the 2000s. These ships are equipped with four Hsiung Feng II anti-ship missiles, a 20mm anti-aircraft gun and two 7.62mm machine guns. The Kuang Hua VI boats feature a stealth design lacking radar the target data is provided by an external resource using a datalink. With a displacement of 171 tons and powered by a diesel engines can achieve a top speed of 33 knots. The lead ship entered service with the Republic of China Navy (ROCN) in 2003 with a total of 31 vessels commissioned through 2014.
