Description
The XRIM-4 is a supersonic, medium-range, surface-to-air missile being developed as the replacement for the ESSM missile within the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). The XRIM-4 missile features the Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar seeker form the AAM-4B air-to-air missile.
