Description
The Teseo Mk2/E is a new variant evolved from the Teseo missile system featuring an improved radiofrequency seeker and the ability to engage targets at sea and land from long ranges. Besides, the missile features an innovative mission planning system and enough room to incorporate new capabilities in the future. The Teseo Mk2/E project was unveiled by MBDA in March 2021 with the launch customer being the Italian Navy. The Italian Navy plans call for the new missile to be provided to the future DDX destroyers and PPA multi-purpose vessels. In addition, the missile might replace older Teseo missile systems onboard FREMM and Horizon class frigates.
