Description
The French Navy OPV is a new Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) class being built by Naval Group and expected to enter service in 2026. The French Navy plans call for the procurement of 10 vessels by 2035. The French Navy issued a first contract for seven vessels in November 2023 with another contract for three additional vessels expected before 2030.
