Description

The Gaurav is a 1,000-kilogram long-range gliding bomb developed by India for release by fighter aircraft such as the Su-30MKI multirole fighter. The bomb is fitted with a winged kit and uses a combination of Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Global Positioning System (GPS) to get to the target’s area. The Indian Air Force first tested the Gaurav gliding bomb from a Su-30MKI in August 2024.
