Description

Kamaz introduced the Kamaz-43269 Vystrel 4x4 armored vehicle at IDEX-2007. The armored vehicle is manufactured by Kamaz subsidiary Remdizel. In August 2008, the Russian Ministry of Defense placed an order for Kamaz-43269 vehicles for the Russian Army. According to the Russian press, in December 2008 the Russian Ministry of Home Affairs was considering the Vystrel as a potential replacement for BTR-80s in special operations and reconnaissance units. The KAMAZ-4326-15 , or 4326-AZ, 4x4 police and security vehicle variant is designed to transport up to 31 persons in custody and was unveiled in October 2010 at Interpolitex exhibition.
