Description

Stunner is a flexible and affordable short range ballistic missile and rocket interceptor developed in partnership between Raytheon and Rafael. Both companies were selected in May 2006 by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Israel Missile Defense Organization to develop the Stunner under the SRMD (Short Range Missile Defense) program. In November 2006 Raytheon selected ATK to develop Stunner's booster motor. The first test-firing of the Stunner/David's Sling missile defense system was carried out on November 25, 2012.
