Description
The Vystrel-M is an advanced wheeled armored vehicle equipped with a roof-mounted remote weapon station with a 2A42 30mm automatic cannon, a 7.62mm PKT machine gun and a 30mm AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher. The Vystrel-M firepower makes it suitable to provide fire support to dismounted infantryman during operations in urban terrain. The vehicle can also serve as a security vehicle. Compared with previous versions features improved windshield, air purification system and fire control system. The Vystrel-M armored was fielded by the Russian Armed Forces in September/October 2022 and is expected to be deployed in Ukraine in support of the special military operation.
