Description
The ChangZheng 12, also known as the CZ-12 or Long March 12 (LM-12) in the West, is a space launch vehicle developed by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) and designed to carry payloads of 10 tons onto Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or six tons payloads into Sun Synchronous Orbits (SSO) at 700 kilometers of altitude. The CZ-12 is propelled by six liquid oxygen-kerosene-fueled engines with an overall height of 60 meters and 3.8 meters of diameter. The first launch is scheduled by June 2024.
