Description
The Jielong 3, Smart Dragon 3 in English, is a sea-launched, solid propellant, space launching system capable of placing a 1.5 tons payload into a 500 kilometers of altitude Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO). The Jielong 3 is a larger version of the Jielong-1 with the ability to place payloads into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and SSO. China launched the first Jielong 3 rocket in December 2022.
