Description

Club-M, introduced in early 2006, is a land-based advanced anti-ship missile system equipped with latest generation of Russian-made long-range supersonic anti-ship missiles. Club-M is capable of firing 2M-14E, 3M-54E and 3M-54E1 missiles which feature over 300 kilometers range and 10-50 meters of flight altitude. The system is fully automated with the long range detection systems delivering the potential target to the fire unit. Club-M automatically selects and fires the weapon optimized for countering the target. The whole system can be integrated onto a variety of chassis following customers' needs. The Club-K missile defense system, which existence was revealed in late April 2010, is designed to look exactly like any standard cargo container. It carries four Club-M anti-ship missiles inside erectable vertical launch canisters. This weapon system can also be fitted with the improved Kh-35UE anti-ship missile beginning in 2012.
