Description

The Russian Direct Ascent - Anti-Satellite (DA-ASAT) is a solid fuel missile designed to take out exo-atmospheric and near space targets such as incoming ballistic missiles, unmanned maneuverable spacecrafts and satellites. The DA-ASAT interceptor might be capable of Mach 10 speeds and a maximum range of 1,500 kilometers. According to US intelligence sources, the new missile-interceptor was first tested on April 15, 2020.
