Description

The ChangZheng 5B , also known as Long March 5B, is a next generation version of the Long March 5 space launch system intended to support China's Tiangong space station. The rocket has the largest Low Earth Orbit (LEO) payload carrying capacity produced in China in order to lift space station modules. The rocket burns a combination of liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen and kerosene and features a core with four boosters attached to it. The ChangZheng 5B space launch rocket successfully completed its maiden flight from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in Hainan province on May 5, 2020.
