Description
The Turkish Light Utility Helicopter (TLUH) is a 5-ton class twin-engine, tactical helicopter developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) to meet the requirements of the Turkish military. The new helicopter is expected to be certified by EASA by 2020. TAI selected the LHTEC CTS800 engine to power the new helicopter at the Paris Air Show on June 16, 2015. The project was re-named as the T625 Gokbey with the first prototype taking to the skies in September 2018. The helicopter entered service in October 2024. Turkiye is expected to order more than 100 aircraft.
