Protection

Armor Unlike the original amphibious variant, the Land model eliminates amphibious subsystems such as propellers, bilge pumps, and trim vanes, freeing mass allocation for enhanced ballistic protection. The weight savings from eliminating amphibious systems and reducing troop capacity from 13 to 8 personnel—equivalent to approximately 800 kilograms—are reinvested in additional protection levels. The structural design incorporates a high-strength monocoque steel hull capable of withstanding small arms fire, artillery shell splinters, mines, and IED attacks.
