Kh-39

The Kh-39, formerly known as Izdeliye 305 LMUR, is a small tactical missile developed by KBP to engage personnel, armored vehicles and filed fortifications from distances of up to 14.5 kilometers. The new missile flies at an altitude between 100 and 600 meters at speeds of up to 230 meters per second (800+ kilometers per hour). The missile is especially well suited for release by rotary-wing aircraft and drones. The missile uses an imaging infrared (IIR) seeker in order to track the target while being operated by the carrier aircraft pilot or through a satellite data-link. The Izdeliye 305 weapon was unveiled in August 2021 during Army Expo in the Moscow region. This cost effective weapon is expected to achieve a big success in the export market across the world. The Kh-39 missile was also combat proven and used successfully in Syria. The weapon was used successfully during the special military operation in Ukraine February-September 2022.
