Marauder

The KADDB and Paramount Group Marauder is a 4x4 mine-protected armored vehicle in the 15t weight class featuring excellent on- and off-road mobility. This armored vehicle can be used for troop, weapon and material transport of up to 4,500 kg with a crew of two men and eight troops in the rear compartment. The power plant consists of a militarized MAN engine. The Marauder has the ability to carry extra fuel tanks, water and combat supplies for long-range patrol or quick reaction force operations. It can be supplied with a stretched hull. The basic variants are: APC, ambulance and anti-armor fire support fitted with anti-tank missiles. The Marauder provides STANAG Level 3 protection against mines and improvised explosive devices (IED). The Marauder can withstand the blast of 8kg of TNT under the hull and 14kg of TNT under any wheel as well as the impact of 12.7mm piercing ammunition. It is fitted with anti-blast seats and ballistic armor. The vehicle has enough room to incorporate additional protection measures against specific threats. With excellent strategic mobility, the Marauder can cross all types of terrain at impressive speed. It can be airlifted by C-130 aircraft and Chinook helicopters with little preparation.
