Description

The TRS-3D is a G-band naval multimode 3D radar designed for surveillance and weapon assignment, offering an instrumented range of 200 km. It features a phased array antenna with 16 or 32 rows of 46 radiators, employing electronic phase shifters for elevation scanning and electronic stabilization to compensate for ship motion, with an antenna rotation speed of 10, 17, 20, or 60 rpm. This radar is capable of simultaneous detection and tracking of multiple targets, with specific operational modes to counter sea-skimming cruise missiles and attack helicopters, and is in service with the Royal Danish Navy on Standard Flex 300 patrol boats and Niels Juel-class corvettes, as well as on German F 122 frigates, where it is designated AN/SPS-75 in US nomenclature.
