Description
The ZBD04A Reconnaissance Vehicle (RV) is a modification of the ZBD04A chassis featuring rubber tracks and several hull changes. The ZBD04A RV is equipped with mast mounted electro-optical sensors and radar to conduct battlefield surveillance missions. Besides, the vehicle is equipped with a small-caliber machine gun integrated onto a remote weapon station. The new armored vehicle entered service within the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in 2018 or 2019.
