Project 20382
The Project 20382 refers to export version of Project 20380 class corvette. These vessels may be fitted with different sensors and weapon systems than those employed by the Russian Navy. In June 2007, Rosoboronexport and Indonesian Navy signed an agreement for the construction of two Project 20382 vessels, of which the first one meant to be built in Spain, that would lead lead to a contract in the near future and thus the first export order for the ship. In June 2011 at International Maritime Defense Show, IMDS-2011, in Saint Petersburg, Algeria and Russia signed a contract for the construction of two Project 20382 corvettes. The first vessel of this class is expected to be commissioned by the Algerian Navy within 2015. Algeria is also planning to acquire four more vessels after 2020. As of 2022, Algeria plans call for the procurement of three vessels starting in 2022.
