Description

The Mercedes-Benz Unimog is a family of 4x4, high mobility, tactical military truck systems. The Unimog trucks with a gross vehicle weight between 7,500 kg and 12,500 kg have been designed to transport payloads ranging from 4,000 kg to 7,500 kg in the most severe terrain and climate conditions. It can be airlifted inside the cargo compartment of fixed-wing tactical transport aircraft such as the C-130 and C-160. The steel semi-forward cab can receive additional armor plates for operations in combat zones or peacekeeping missions. Mercedes-Benz Military Vehicles has sold more than 150,000 Unimog trucks to over 80 armies worldwide.
