The P-120, SS-N-9 Siren Western designation, was a nuclear capable anti-ship missile developed as a replacement for surface ship and submarine-launched P-5/35 cruise missiles. It features active radar seeker which gives P-120 fire and forget capability. In the 1980s the Soviet Navy began replacing its P-120 missile with newest supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles. The P-120 missile was deployed along with Project 12341 Nanuchka III missile boats. The missile is also deployed along the 4K51 Rubezh coastal defense system vehicle.
