T 810 6x6

The TATRA T 810 is a three-axle 6x6 vehicle in the medium truck category with a maximum gross weight of 13,000 kg. The truck has a great mobility in difficult terrains and it is designed for transport of both material and personnel. Behind the T 810 truck, it is possible to connect a trailer of up to12,000 kg. Its chassis is based on rigid portal axles with wheel hub reduction gears and a bolted ladder frame. The axles have big clearance and are equipped with disc brakes, differential locks and CTIS system. The front axle is suspended by coil springs, the rear axles by leaf springs. The three-seat cab has a roof hole for a possible machine gun carriage installation. The Czech Republic's Army has ordered the TATRA T 810 6x6 vehicle in six variants: platform truck (T 810-1R0R26), platform truck with a tail lift, ISO 1D container transporter with a hook loader, ISO 1D container transporter with container partitions, box body transporter, vehicle with an armored cab of level 1 STANAG 4569 protection. The armored cab version features a reinforced floor against hand grenade fragments and anti-personnel mines. A hermetically sealed cab is also available for rescue and recovery missions during industrial accidents and disasters. T 810 trucks are powered by Renault Trucks Dxi7 water-cooled turbocharged diesel engine developing 177 kW of power.
