Description

The Sky Bow II or Tian Kung II is a long range surface-to-air missile (SAM) developed by Chinese Academy of Sciences for the Taiwanese Army. The missile system combines a sophisticated fire control system with the advanced Sky Bow II missile to provide enough firepower to engage multiple airborne threats. The Sky Bow II fire and forget missile with a maximum range of roughly 200 kilometers features an active radar seeker to allow the weapon system to engage several airborne targets simultaneously. It is launched vertically utilizing a truck-mounted canister with four missile cells.
