Mi-8AMT is designed to solve a wide range of tasks: transporting passengers and cargo, transporting bulky cargo on an external load, conducting search and rescue operations, evacuating the injured. When developing the Mi-8AMT helicopter, the vast experience of operating more than 12,000 helicopters of the Mi-8 family in all climatic and natural zones was taken into account. “Comfort and safety!” Is the motto under which this passenger helicopter was created. To ensure the safety of passengers, the Mi-8AMT helicopter is equipped with three Class III emergency hatches that meet the requirements of FAR-29, as well as several additional emergency exits. For flights above the water surface, the helicopter is equipped with an emergency landing system, equipped with life jackets. The transport modification upon the customer’s request can be equipped with an additional right extended door, a ladder in the rear part of the cab.
