Description
The Irtysh-3S (Cyrillic: «Иртыш-3С») is a naval radar system manufactured by «Granit-Electron». Operating in the X-band (IEEE designation) or I-band (NATO designation) at a frequency of 9,430 ±40 MHz, it is designed for coastal surveillance. It features a peak power of 1.8 to 4 kW, a range resolution of 15 meters, and an accuracy of 10 meters and 0.5 degrees. The radar's antenna has a beamwidth of 0.95 degrees and rotates at 10 to 11 revolutions per minute, with a mean time between critical failures exceeding 1,500 hours and a mean time to repair under 22 minutes. The Irtysh-3S is considered a successor to the MR-10 radar.
