Description

The Helsing HX-2 is an X-wing kamikaze drone developed to operate almost autonomously using Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a human operator taking critical decisions. The AI technology is intended to provide resilience in front of heavy electronic warfare (EW) environments and, at the same time, enabling swarm of drone’s attacks. The drone is powered by an electric engine and can operate at up to 100 kilometers engaging artillery guns, armored vehicles and other military targets with a shaped charge warhead. The Helsing HX-2 strike drones was unveiled in late 2024 and Germany is expected to deliver 6,000 drones to Ukraine within 2025. Helsing is expected to manufacture more than 1,000 HX-2 drones monthly.
