Gyurza 01 Ukrainian 4x4 Armored Vehicle
Gyurza 01

The Gyurza 01 is a Ukrainian 4x4 armored vehicle equipped with advanced electronic warfare (EW) systems and automatic fire suppression systems, which protect the engine compartment, troop compartment, and wheel arches. It meets Level 2 protection standards according to NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569. The vehicle features full-time all-wheel drive (4x4) with a differential lock function and a dual V-shaped hull floor designed to endure a 6 kg explosive blast, in line with STANAG 4569 Level 2a/2b standards. Its armor is classified as PZSA-5, equivalent to STANAG 4569 Level II, and can withstand armor-piercing incendiary rounds of 7.62×39 mm caliber. Additionally, the inner capsule of the vehicle is completely lined with aramid anti-fragmentation fabric, which protects against free-form fragments weighing 1.1 grams traveling at speeds of at least 500 m/s, effectively shielding personnel from shrapnel injuries. The Gyurza 01 is also equipped with a modernized suspension system, in which all core components of the base chassis—including leaf springs, shock absorbers, coil springs, anti-roll bars, and stabilizer links—have been replaced. Furthermore, the vehicle’s axles include additional reinforced protection.
