Description
The Kemankes is a loitering munition, also referred to as kamikaze drone, developed by Baykar to be released by airborne platforms. The Kemankes carries a 6-kilogram warhead, can fly for over one hour at a loitering altitude of 5,000 meters over distances of up to 50 kilometers. The 30-kilogram kamikaze drone has been designed for release by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Kemankes can fly at speeds between 360 and 720 kilometers per hour and is equipped with an electro-optical sensor system for target detection. Baykar introduced the Kemankes loitering munition in April 2023.
