Design
The design of its nose and tail gives it a tear-drop shape which provides a lower resistance to water. This weapon is composed of a safety and arming device, explosive train, battery and electronic board, electronic hydrostatic sensor, explosive charge and body.
Depth
As soon as launching the sea mine into the water, it sinks and is armed at a depth of 15m.
Activation
The system is activated by reaching a pre-set depth where it then detonates.
Charge
If the main charge doe not explode the sea mine will, after a specified time, explode. All adjusted operations are completed by selectors installed on the sea mine.
