Description
The HX 10x10 Heavy Recovery Vehicle (HRV) is a variant featuring a 10x10 chassis and intended to recover heavyweight vehicles. The vehicle features an underlift with a capacity of up to 15 tons as well as a recovery boom with a crane with a lift capacity of up to 23 tons, two independent winches and a main winch. The HRV has a gross train weight of 75 tons and is fitted with an armored cabin that can withstand ballistic, mine and Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) threats. The high off-road mobility HX 10x10 heavy truck variant was unveiled by Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) in May 2019.
