Bayraktar Kalkan Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

The Bayraktar Kalkan is a Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) classified as a Mini Tactical UAV. It is designed for reconnaissance and intelligence missions. This vehicle features automatic cruising capabilities, autonomous take-off and landing, and semi-autonomous flight during cruising. The Bayraktar Kalkan takes off using electric motors but switches to fuel engines for cruising flight. It has two landing options: vertical landing and landing on its fuselage. Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with a flight control system that supports automatic route tracking, target tracking, circling, and return-to-home functions.
