TATRA T 815-2

The TATRA ARMAX, also known as T 815-2, is a family of all wheel drive vehicles designed to be operated in difficult terrains and climate conditions as well as to support peacekeeping missions. The design of these vehicles is based on successful civilian off road versions specially adapted for military use. They are powered by TATRA air-cooled diesel engines compliant with Euro II and Euro III emission standards but can accept liquid-cooled engines from other manufacturers. The ARMAX product line comprises a variety of versions based upon 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 platforms. The standard equipment of TATRA ARMAX tactical military truck system includes: all wheel drive, axial and inter-axial differential locks, ABS system, CTIS system enabling re-inflation of tires during the drive in boggy terrain, 14.00 R20 military tactical tires, engine operation possible with fuel complying with NATO standards, combat engineering equipment, camouflage and convoy vehicle lighting, vehicle radio-shielding as per NATO standards and special protective surface finish.
