Description

The Mi-35MS is a command and control (C2) airborne helicopter designed to serve of airborne command post for the Russian military. The special purpose helicopter is painted in solid green scheme and only the Russian flag insignia in the tail. Based upon the Mi-35M attack helicopter the aircraft features body and wings mounted radio antennas. It is fitted with advanced avionics, a variety of sensors, night vision cameras, Raduga-MB satellite station, GLONASS/GPS navigation system, and an anti-jamming system. The Mi-35MS also features the President-S self-protection system against infrared-guided missiles. The Mi-35MS existence was first reported in February 2013 and was first caught on camera in December 2015 near the Kremlin in Moscow.
