Description

The Ka-62 is a civil version of the Ka-60 military assault/transport helicopter developed by Kamov. It retains the single five-bladed main rotor, a 11-bladed tail rotor and wide side doors from the Ka-60. The Ka-62 is powered by two NPO Saturn RD-600V turboshaft engines. The helicopter's cabin can accommodate up to 16 passengers including two pilots. Overall, results slightly lighter and has greater range and better flight performance than the Ka-60.
