Description

The Brazilian Navy Nuclear Submarine Program SNACII is the first nuclear-powered boat developed and built in Brazil with French technical assistance and slated to enter service in 2023. The new nuclear-powered attack submarine is intended to protect Brazil's maritime oil and gas resources offshore. The submarine design according to some pictures released by the Brazilian Navy features sail-mounted diving planes and cross type rudder with at least six torpedo tubes mounted at the bow.
