Description
The Furuno M1935 (Model 1935) is an X-band maritime navigation radar operating at 9,410 ±30 MHz, designed for a variety of vessels such as pleasure craft, fishing boats, and workboats. It features a 4 kW peak power non-coherent, keyed on/off self-oscillating magnetron transmitter. The radar utilizes a 1-meter (40.8-inch) slotted waveguide array antenna with a 2.4° beamwidth, rotating at 24 or 48 revolutions per minute, and offers an instrumented range of 48 nautical miles (89 km). Displayed on a 10.4-inch color LCD in VGA standard (640x460 pixels), the system provides switchable true or relative bearing.
